Welcome to Yogi Fuel, where ancient wisdom meets modern magic.
What started as a kitchen experiment making energy balls (called Prana Bites!) for local yoga studios has evolved into a global movement. Yogi Fuel began as my way of teaching yogis how to fuel themselves with wholesome, plant-based food. Through writing a blog, hosting plant-based cooking classes, and sharing my passion for nutrition, I thought I had found my calling. But life had other plans.
Through my own struggles with stress, burnout, and the search for alignment, my mission began to expand. I realized that fueling ourselves isn’t just about food; it’s about nourishing our entire being. That’s when I fell in love with Ayurveda—a holistic approach to balance—and the transformative power of modern science, like Polyvagal Theory. Together, these systems not only changed my life but became the foundation for what Yogi Fuel is today: a rebellious, heart-led brand blending ancient and modern modalities to support conscious humans on every level.
Now, Yogi Fuel is about more than individual healing. We’ve grown into a space where wellness practitioners, yoga teachers, and coaches learn how to bring these transformative tools to their clients and students. It’s about creating a ripple effect of healing, empowerment, and alignment.
My Professional Journey
My journey into wellness began with a deep love for the human body and its incredible potential. I hold a 5-year specialized honors degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology, where I trained as an exercise physiologist specializing in functional neurophysiology. From movement optimization to physical rehabilitation, I’ve worked in diverse settings that showed me the profound connection between the body and mind.
This scientific foundation led me to explore holistic approaches to healing. I pursued a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher training, expanded my knowledge through Culinary Nutrition Training, and ultimately found my true passion in Ayurveda. It was here that everything came together: my background in science, my love for mindfulness, and my desire to support others in achieving holistic balance.
I’ve been fortunate to study with some of the most renowned yoga and Ayurveda teachers in the world, including Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. Robert Svoboda, David Frawley, Prem and Radha Carlisi, David Robson, and R. Sharath Jois. These teachings shaped my philosophy of integrating ancient wisdom with modern science to create truly holistic solutions for myself and my clients.

I’m a barefoot running enthusiast and am currently training for a marathon—because, why not? 🏃♀️
I LOVE coffee and cacao and consider them my ultimate creative fuels. ☕
I almost went to school to be a stand-up comedian (and I’m pretty funny, if I do say so myself!).
Even though I adore nature, I have a teeny-tiny fear of bees—we’re working on it. 🐝
